“I had been working as long as I can remember. At the age of 15, when my classmates rushed to the playground or to their coaching classes as soon as the school bell rang, I had to rush to work. When my college friends asked me to stop by and chat with them after classes, I had to say, ‘No, I am getting late for my job’. I am the only daughter, you see. Not coming from a well-doing family, my parents only ever had me to count on. So I counted the days until I finally managed to make sure that they enjoy a comfortable life. Even now, after getting married, I am my parents’ pillar of support.”
