“I was still a student when my happy little world came crumbling. Losing my father was so sudden that it didn’t feel real at first. But looking at my mother, I knew I had to grow up a little earlier than I had planned. With that hope, I came to Gatim in 2018. Starting a job at such a young age came with its struggles. But I could not afford to give up. I gave my all to learn the ropes and now, after more than 4 years of being here, I am proud to provide my mother with a better life.”
